The Mardi Himal Base Camp helicopter tour is a great alternative to the Annapurna Base Camp helicopter tour. Instead of trekking along the lengthy route, this convenient option allows you to explore the stunning mountains up close without much physical exertion or time constraints.
Starting from Pokhara airport, the direct flight to Mardi Himal landing spot takes approximately 12-15 minutes, with around 30 minutes provided for exploring the area.
The breathtaking views include Mardi Himal, Machhapuchhre, Annapurna III, Gangapurna, Tare Kang Glacier Dome, Singu Chuli, Khangsar Kang, and other nearby peaks. The return journey back to Pokhara by helicopter offers another opportunity to enjoy scenic mountain views in just about 12 minutes.
A private vehicle will pick you up from the hotel and transfer you to the airport. There after completing airport formalities, you will board the plane.
After completing the airport procedures, you will take a flight to Mardi Himal Base Camp. During the journey, you can enjoy stunning views of Pokhara Valley and its picturesque lakes. From above, you'll also see villages scattered across the landscape, as well as impressive terrace farming on the hillsides and dense rhododendron forests. The flight provides breathtaking panoramas of the Annapurna Ranges, Machhapurche, Dhaulagiri, and other peaks in the region.

Arriving at Mardi Himal Base Camp, you will have 30 minutes of ground time to take in the breathtaking views of Lamjung Himal, Annapurna, and Dhaulagiri ranges. You can also admire the trail that leads to Annapurna base camp below. Standing beneath the towering peak of Mt. Machhapuchhre behind Mardi Himal offers a once-in-a-lifetime experience, allowing you to capture iconic photos and videos with your loved ones while sipping on coffee.
After enjoying the scenic views and capturing photos, you will return to Pokhara by boarding the helicopter.
