A motorcycling journey to the Everest Base Camp is a thrilling way to experience the base of Mount Everest. Not only will you arrive at the EBC on the Tibetan side, but you’ll also have the opportunity to discover Tibet and its incredible beauty.

Traveling along Friendship Highway en route to Everest Base Camp involves crossing five high passes exceeding 4,500 meters before descending towards what was once home to Dalai Lama. The route consists mostly of tarmac roads with some non-technical off-road segments making it suitable for motorbike travel which substantially eases your journey.

During your time in various cities, there will be opportunities happening at numerous heritage sites where Tibetan history and traditions can be discovered first-hand.

The tour comes with experienced guides possessing extensive knowledge regarding bike mechanics who also ensure customizable options according to your preferences – including tailor-made itineraries or joining standard departure dates. The program accommodates both small and large groups though smaller teams may incur higher costs in Tibet due to constraints related to total group size.

Day 02

Kathmandu Sightseeing and Trip Preparation
Today, following breakfast, you'll embark on a guided tour to visit some of the most significant historical and spiritual sites in Kathmandu. These landmarks are all recognized as World Heritage Sites, such as the revered Hindu temple Pashupatinath, the renowned 'Monkey Temple' Swayambunath, the Buddhist shrine of Bouddhanath (one of the largest Stupas globally), and the medieval city Patan.

Day 03

Bhaktapur Durbar Square Sightseeing and Trip Preparation
Today, you will have the opportunity to discover the historic city of Bhaktapur and make arrangements for the rest of your trip.

Day 04

Ride from Kathmandu to Shtabrubesi (1,140m)
After receiving your visa from the embassy, you will start your motorbike journey to Shyabrubesi. You will travel 40 kilometers to Prithibi and then turn left towards the Kerung border. The road conditions make for a long journey through remote areas of Langtang National Park until Rasuwagadi, passing through Nuwakot and Dhunche before staying overnight in Shyabrubesi.

Day 05

Ride to Kerung (2,750m) and Acclimatization
Today, after having breakfast at the guesthouse, you will travel 18 kilometers to reach the border between Nepal and Tibet. Once the necessary border formalities are completed, you will continue driving for 24 kilometers to arrive in Kerung. Upon reaching Kerung, take some time to explore the local town and rest for acclimatization before any further drives on the following day.

Day 06

Ride to Tingri (4,300m)
Today, following your morning meal, you will continue on a journey uphill to the highest plateau in the world. The unique sights of the Tibetan landscape will provide an overwhelming sensation of being at the pinnacle of the earth. If conditions allow, you'll be treated to awe-inspiring views of stunning Himalayan mountain ranges, such as Mt Cho Oyu (8,201m), and Mt Xishapagma (8,012m), although they may seem small in comparison to the vastness of the Tibetan plateau.
